Marinela Kotsina is an astrologer, spiritualist, and spirit-guided counselor from
"Astrology can be a very good start, a very good tool for self-awareness," says Marinela. "It's really very beautiful, and it saddens me that so many astrologers make a mockery of it rather than applying it in the beautiful way that it is intended -- as a way of shining Light on one's path and offering clues on how to align with your destiny, with dignity."
While Marinela has had a former career as a high school teacher, she has pursued studies in astrology, energy and spiritual healing, and esoteric spirituality, her most rich and valuable education -- and that which is most beneficial in her work as a Light Unto Others -- is her education at 'the University of Life.'
Marinela's work centers around a belief that, while gathering intellectual knowledge and theories can be rewarding, it's only truly useful when we're able to apply it in a practical or 'real' way when faced with the various challenges and questions that come up as we live our life. The ups, downs, and adventures of her own life has taken Marinela from the intellectual concept and theory that she studied to its direct application in facing life's challenges and creatively responding to life's questions.
"The magic is in the journey!" she says, and her passion is to use her gifts, skills, experience, and wisdom to help those she counsels to find the magic in their own journey.
"You can use the past to learn from your mistakes, and look to the future to plan your accomplishments, but your focus and actions need to be in the 'now'. There are ways to use astrology and spiritual wisdom to do that more effectively, and more joyfully," she says. This experience in 'real world' application of spiritual and astrological theories -- along with her generosity, compassion, and wisdom -- is what makes Marinela such a respected and valued counselor.
"You have to look the natal chart and turn that wheel, to really see what's right and what the challenges are," she says. "You cannot change your chart -- the map that you were born with -- but you can change how you perceive it. And that's how you can change your life and choose how to use your free will to see the Light and stay in the Light."
“One of the basic concepts is that our thoughts transmit magnetic energy at different frequencies. Whatever energy we send out through our thoughts will attract things at the same frequency. Love Is the Highest Energy. Negative thoughts--including fear, resentment, anger, despair, and hatred--have low vibrations of energy. Positive thoughts of peace, gratitude, joy, and love all transmit at much higher levels. Love sends forth the highest vibration of all, and as we transmit, so we receive. Loving thoughts create more love.
